The airport will initially feature two daily flights to Delhi, offering enhanced connectivity to the region, and operates from a new terminal.
About NAPTICON 2026
NAPTICON 2026, the Fifth National Conference of the National Association of Pharmacology and Therapeutics (NAPT), will be hosted by the Department of Pharmacology, Christian Medical College (CMC), Ludhiana, Punjab, India, from 19–21 November 2026.
In today’s healthcare systems, pharmacology education, research and practices are increasingly integrated and indispensable. In this spirit, the conference brings together stakeholders from a wide range of backgrounds—educators, students, clinicians, researchers, assessors, regulators and policy makers—to encourage dynamic dialogues, foster collaborations and drive innovation in Pharmacology.

With the approval of the Awards & Honors Council of NPT is pleased and honoured to announce the institution of the most prestigious Dr. K. D. Tripathi Oration in Pharmacology & Therapeutics.
Dedicated to Dr. K. D. Tripathi, an eminent and internationally renowned pharmacologist whose outstanding contribution to pharmacology education has inspired generations of medical students, teachers and pharmacologists.
This prestigious Oration shall be delivered every year by an eminent pharmacologist of national or international repute during NAPTICON, the National Conference of NPT. The inaugural Dr. K. D. Tripathi Oration will be held during NAPTICON 2026, organized by the Department of Pharmacology, Christian Medical College, Ludhiana, on 20–21 November 2026.
In a truly historic and memorable moment for the pharmacology fraternity, the first Oration will be delivered in the august presence of the living legend, Hon’ble Dr. K. D. Tripathi Sir himself. The distinguished pharmacologist selected to deliver this inaugural Oration will be announced shortly.
Through this Oration, NPT reaffirms its commitment to advancing the stature and standards of Pharmacology and Therapeutics in India and across the globe. The Oration will stand as an enduring symbol of our respect, gratitude and recognition for the eminent teachers, scholars and contributors whose lifelong dedication has shaped and strengthened the discipline of Pharmacology and Therapeutics.
